My Journal

Scarred and spiral bound; decorated with great purple mountains and a clouded sky; bearing a single word "Vision".
Within it, coded memories of a three week adventure half-way across the globe are enscribed.
It is difficult to relay in text the interior of this record-keeper, which is laced with numerous hand-drawn maps, notes to self, and unexplainable doodles. I hope this blog sufficiently retells my experiences there and conveys the missions of our project, but more importantly, the inspiration.

Saturday.Oct.27.2007 (Day 15)

Got up in morning, took showers, we ate breakfast at the Flame Tree. Iran around and called Isabella to set up everything for that night. I got used tin foil and new to make a pirate hook. Went and did homework, went to lunch, Ihad cheese pizza and Erica had Italian herb (gross) chicken sandwich. Erica got hit on by creepy old pool player named Harris, who had also hit on Jacq. We ran out so as not to be seen by Harris and ran to Jacq’s room to hide. I put boxed pizza in fridge. Isabella came with our tickets. Went and did homework. 2 hours before party we stopped homework and began getting ready. Tattoos and make-up. Then at 7 we waited for almost 30 mins and Mr. Fielding offered to drop us off by taxi. Isabella was called she said on her way. Finally she came, had to run to her house, then to party. Met what we thought was a cross-dresser, but really was not, Curtis of the nuclear club. We were unsure of whether or not to drink punch for fear of alcohol. Ate food, did not eat muscles which Isabella made. Singing, dancing, awards for costume, we got most creative.
